Professional Biography

Most recently, I have served as a Johnson & Johnson graduate assistant at the Center For Organizational Development and Leadership at Rutgers University. In this post I oversee the planning and implementation of numerous organizational assessments and designed and managed numerous online measurement surveys.

I have served as an account executive in the healthcare communications group of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide. I joined Edelman Healthcare in April 2001 and assisted in implementation of programs and media relations for California-based, Gilead Sciences’ adefovir and for St. Jude Medical’s Aortic Connector.  I also worked on Together Rx where I was responsible for media relations and account coordination. Additionally, I have worked for Wyeth Ayerst on Effexor XR, Eli Lilly on Xigris and for Berlex on Betaseron. I also specialized in the development of new business pitches in the mental health sector.

Prior to joining Edelman’s healthcare team, I was an account executive in the healthcare practice at Rowland Communications, New York.  During my time at Rowland, I planned and executed public relations activities on behalf of Merial’s Gastrogard surrounding their sponsorship of the 2000 Olympic Equestrian Team.  Additional public relations and account management experience was gained at McShane Associates where my main clients were the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa, the Indian cuisine restaurant Mogul's, and Hilton Hotels.

While completing my undergraduate work, I interned in the communications department of The United States Equestrian Team, Gladstone, New Jersey.  There I assisted in the planning of media activities surrounding the not for profit organization as well as major events such as qualifying events for the 2000 Summer Olympic Games.

I graduated from Marist College’s School of Communications and the Arts with a B.A. in communications and a concentration in Public Relations and Rutgers University with a Masters in Communication and Information Studies.
